To reach your goal or to attain success,

you don't need to know all the answers in advance.

You just need to have a clear idea of what your goal is.

Don't procrastinate when faced with a difficult problem.

Break your problems into parts, and handle one part at a time.

Develop tendencies toward taking action.

You can make something happen now.

Break your big plan into small steps and take that first step right away.

Everyone who ever got where they are

had to begin where they were.

Your big opportunity is where you are right now.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

The value that I am sharing in this section is AMBITION. 

Ambition is the driving force in life. It’s an earnest desire for some type of achievement or distinction as power, honor, fame, or wealth, and the willingness to strive for its attainment.

In the organizational context I shall define ambition as “A person who is ambitious has a dream of succeeding in some endeavor—usually related to his or her career. An ambitious person is hard-working in striving to achieve goals and to move up in the world.”

If you are ambitious in your job, you will be looking for ways to move up the ladder of success. You will put out an extra effort to make a mark in your job. However, being ambitious is not only about positions and grades. Being ambitious can also include one’s desire to be the best in whatever they do, doing things with perfection. Like in operations department, some may have the ambition of “zero error processing”, or a branch head may have the ambition to have an “excellent rating” in any audit that happens. Ambition is a moving and ever evolving force. For e.g. someone may have the ambition to be the head of a branch. And once his ambition is fulfilled, he shall move to the next ambition. For e.g. as an organization our vision is to be a No. 1 private life insurance company. This ambition is a continuous ambition.  

As an employee when we have a trait of ambition in us; it helps us to be more productive employees. Being ambitious has to be synchronized with ethics and also with the well-being of those around us. 
I shall conclude my article with a quote by Margaret Mead:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.”
